Many years ago, Captain Bane roamed the seas on his ship, the Black Pearl, and the ever-victorious sea dwellers called him Lord of the Seven Seas. Today he has awakened from the briny depths, bringing his cursed body and a tattered Black Pearl back to these waters. He must announce his return to the sea dwellers and renew his reign here.

Bane is a jack of all trades. He has sustainability with his heal, good poking abilities with his passive and first skill, and can greatly push lanes. However, there are a lot of heroes who can outclass you. The trick with Bane is that you will have to take advantage of being an all-rounder in the early game and get fed. Harassing your opponents, efficiently killing minions, farming and pushing your lane. All of this will be easy for Bane, however, it’s better to avoid head-on fights unless you are sure to win. Do try to get on the top lane and get the blue aura as often as you can early game. This will help a lot with your push and harassing enemy heroes. Make use of your passive as much as you can, and also ensure that your passive is up right before you clash with enemies. When clashing, it would be better to use your Ultimate when the teams have already locked in the clash, thus preventing them from dodging your ultimate. Your Ultimate is also a great skill to use in order to destroy turrets. Once you are properly fed, you can start to excel in the game. You have a lot of splash damage that works well on team clash. You can also use your heal to help you and your teammates during standoffs. If properly played at the beginning, you can easily own enemy heroes. You will be able to go head to head with some heroes, however, you will excel more on team fights because of your splash damage. But before all that, your first order of business is to get fed on your lane.
